Mentoring at Redhill

Hello everyone!
Came to update this blog, in case it rots!

For Mentors in REDHILL (Y),
We shifted from the Community center to the nearby Waterfall childcare center for our mentoring activities!

The New Space we had is very big!
For those mentors who havnt start your very own mentoring activities, we welcome you to REDHILL kies :)

Hmm, well the kids there are really cute and hyper!
They never fail to make me smile and give you surprises!
They are such adorable kids!

Though they draw on your hands, climbed onto you, they are still very cute.
You hardly can show them any angry face right!

A SMILE STARTS WITH US!

Today we got a surprise from the volunteers at REDHILL (THANK YOU VERY MUCH!)
We got a treat!


We totally didnt expect such treats though!
We are still joking with the kids there,
" later give me a bite of your mac okies (L) ".

Then shortly after all the kids got their food (WAH)
The volunteer came towards us and

" hey get your food too?"

We are like "wa?" Touched to the max.

Mentoring isnt all about teaching and playing.
you get surprises from you go for the activities, get to know more people.
Can to know each other more.

Today all the mentors and Redhill took the same mrt route back home.
All happened to live West side, so we are chatting.
We even compared our shoes size.

Laykun shoes size is a 4 and she is still complaining! tsk!
Looking at everyone happy faces (especially the kids) make each of us so happy too!

Totally love mentoring.

Christmas Party 2009, WELCOME 2010!

Good day mentors!!
First and foremost,
HAPPY 2010!:)
Have all of you done up your resolutions for the new year? :)

Anyway, we had our Christmas party on 23rd December 2009! It was held at Pasir Ris Park. Thanks for everyone who came down and we are sure all of us had fun that day, and a great x'mas exchange.

Once again, A Big Thank You to those who were present! U all make this party happened! :) Hope that you guys enjoyed the programmes planned.Well, as for those who were unable to make it to the party that night, there will always be next time yea? :) Do join us in the following events we will be having soon.

So basically, we played a couple of games here and there, After which, we had our X'mas Feast! haha!Opps! sorry! No picture of the food. we were too indulged in our feast and none of us remembered to take photo of it. :x

But not to forget, there were CHOCOLATE ECLAIRS, which was super delicious. We must really share with you guys that those chocolate eclairs were not easy to get. (had to purchase it from the west side and travel to the east side, then to ensure they remain COLD and tasty, they were kept in a box of ice etc.. long process..) Despite so, it was YUMMY.

Therefore, we are sure those who were present would agreed that the feast were delicious and its definately not an ordinary Xmas Feast yea?! :) (Oh yes yes!! i heard u all saying Yes! so enthusiastically!) :D hahahha!

And after the dinner, we had our gift exchange!

Everyone who came with a gift, received a gift at the end of the day! :)
